Defining and apply a gravity load in Abaqus
Hi geys in this article i need to show you how to creat gravity load simulation in Abaqus .
The first you should to fine the density of matérial you need to be self weighted load for calculating the weight(mass).
You can create a gravity load to define a uniform acceleration in a fixed direction. A gravity load is applied to the whole model. ABAQUS calculates the loading using the acceleration magnitude that you enter in the gravity load definition and the density specified in the material definition.
To create or edit a gravity load:

How to save Abaqus viewport result in image file
Hy guys .today i will to show you how saving your result viewport in image for presenting in your article or make slides in your own project.
as you shown in the next image ,i will to show you how to print viewport in image with defferent extension you need.
After completed successfully your simulation and showing the result in visualiztion steps you can save the viewport in image ,for doing that you need to followinf this steps:
1- the first step you select what you need to print like parameters as S.Mises or U or others result ,after that select the face that you need to show
2-in the second stept go to menu bar and select:
file > print you see this window :
as you shown in the next image ,i will to show you how to print viewport in image with defferent extension you need.

for doing this tips in abaqus you should to following these steps :
1-Go to menu bar and select:
File > import > part
2-Select your file for importing as rigid body with .igs .step or .sat extension.
3-Rename the part as you need or less the default name.
4-In Scale tab : select use transform from fie ,including scale

Hey guys in this article I'll show you how to import CAD part as rigid body in abaqus .The first thing will do is to save the part with .igs or .step file with the other CAD program after that following this steps :
1-Go to menu bar and select:
File > import > part
2-Select your file for importing as rigid body with .igs .step or .sat extension.
3-Rename the part as you need or less the default name.
4-In Part Attributes tab : select 2D or 2D after that select Discrete rigid in type part and click OK
