Import part with real body dimention in abaqus

Hy guys .today i will to show you how to import CAD body into abaqus without losing real dimension or make scaling of your model.


for doing this tips in abaqus you should to following these steps :


1-Go to menu bar and select:
                                          File > import > part

2-Select your file for importing as rigid body  with .igs .step or .sat extension.

3-Rename the part as you need or less the default name.

4-In Scale tab : select use transform from fie ,including scale
